At Morgan Latif, we don’t just fill roles we build lasting partnerships through retained search and leadership advisory. For this next stage of growth, we’re looking for a hunter, strategist and trusted advisor to spearhead our growth by winning new retained business.
This isn’t a delivery role it’s a founding commercial opportunity for an experienced Search consultant who lives for the pitch, the proposal and the thrill of signing a retained mandate.If you excel at opening doors, shaping compelling search strategies, pitching and converting senior stakeholders into long-term retained clients, this is your platform.
The Role: Own the Front End of Our GrowthYou will be the face of our new business drive, focusing exclusively on:
Identifying & Pursuing Retained Opportunities: Targeting C-suite and senior leadership mandates across our core sectors: Packaging & Chemicals, Industrial Technology, MedTech, and Consumer/FMCG.
Leading Strategic Pitches: Developing and delivering compelling, tailored proposals that convert prospects into retained clients.
Building a Portfolio of Retained Partnerships: Growing accounts into multi-mandate, multi-year relationships.
Sector Specialisation: Leveraging or building deep expertise in one of our key practices to become a sought-after thought partner.
We’re Looking For: A Retained Search Hunter, you’re not just a recruiter—you’re a trusted advisor who sells retained solutions. You have:
- A network and credibility in one of our core sectors or you are a functional secialist-Ops, OPEX, Supply Chain, Corporate or Commercial roles.
- 3-5+ years in executive search or strategic recruitment, with a proven track record of pitching and winning retained business
- Exceptional storytelling, pitching, and commercial negotiation skills.
- The strategic mind to diagnose client needs and design tailored retained search solutions.
- Resilience, drive, and a founder mentality—you see client growth as your own business.
